At Xenon, we believe in going the extra mile – both professionally and personally.
Our Director, James Piddock, took that idea to the extreme by completing an epic cycling challenge: riding from Kent to Le Mans in just 24 hours to raise funds and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH) and their new Children’s Cancer Centre.
The Journey
The journey began at the JOTA Group HQ in Kent. From there, James cycled 80 miles to Portsmouth, boarded the overnight ferry to Caen, and then cycled an additional 110 miles through the early morning hours, arriving at the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours race just in time. His final delivery? A titanium wheel bolt used by the JOTA pit crew in the race itself.
The Cause
The aim of this extraordinary ride was to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, which supports seriously ill children and their families. Donations go directly toward building a new Children’s Cancer Centre that will help provide world-leading care in a purpose-built environment.
We are incredibly proud of James for completing this inspiring challenge and helping raise awareness for such an important cause. If you’d like to support James’s fundraising campaign, you can do so here:

Promoting Health & Wellbeing at Xenon
At Xenon Services, we actively support health and wellbeing initiatives through our employee benefits programme. This includes Cyclescheme, which offers tax-efficient ways to purchase bikes and accessories for commuting or personal challenges.
James’s challenge is an example of how our team goes above and beyond—not only in service delivery but in making a difference to the wider community. His determination reflects the values that drive Xenon every day: commitment, integrity, and heart.
