Xenon began life in 1982 as Shiners Window Cleaners, which is now our specialist window cleaning division. Our aim – to provide 100 per cent customer satisfaction – is as focused now as it was back then.

Xenon operates strategically in Central London – delivering high-quality cleaning and support services for premium office accommodation in the West End, Midtown, and the City of London. Our growth strategy targets 4 and 5-star offices in these areas, ensuring we provide high-quality services to high-profile clients.
What sets us apart from our competitors is our hard work and strong management ethic, complemented by our dedicated, professional, and well-trained workforce of nearly 700 people, all directly employed. We equip our staff with the tools they need to succeed and take pride in their work, which is reflected in our excellent client retention rate. Our directors take a hands-on approach to contract management – and visit customer sites daily to ensure our services are being delivered to the standards we have promised.
Our office and depot are in Zone 1 Central London, specifically Elephant & Castle. Unlike hired or virtual offices, this is our permanently staffed Head Office. Opposite the office is our fully equipped depot, which includes a machinery store, equipment store, reach & wash refilling station, scaffold towers, material & consumable store, and more. Our strategic location provides direct access to Northern & Bakerloo underground lines, a central bus hub, and an overground train line interchange into Blackfriars. Our stores & machinery depot is located directly opposite Head Office at 157 Robert Dashwood Way. The depot has parking for our vehicles and provides adequate storage for machinery, equipment, materials and consumable products stored on pallets at about 80,000 cubic ft. All in Zone 1.
Aside from this, we also have access to 4 satellite offices in the City & West End – enabling our Senior Management team to respond to client emergencies.

Staff Training
Our Directors are members of the British Institute of Cleaning Sciences and have received expert consultation to design our very own in-house Training Academy.
Xenon has developed its own training regime which provides a consistent and methodical framework to ensure that our workforce has unified approach and performs to our high company standards. Our Cleaning Skills Workshop takes staff through detailed procedures for seven specific skill sets and is backed by a 90-page manual. No one is placed on site without thorough induction and onsite training or before we are confident they are competent to carry out their skill sets.
Once staff have completed the workshop, they are part of our programme of recognition and reward and are able to earn certificates, awards and VIP badges – the latter being a mark of excellence to wear proudly on their uniforms whilst at work.
Training does not end with induction, we run continuous in-house and on-site training to give operatives ongoing support, specific knowledge and expert skills.
